The purpose of this blog is to identify different potential shooting locations for my music video. I will be locating areas that will be suitable for each scene, including addresses and completing a risk assessment on each of the locations. This will help me when it comes to shooting the video itself, as I’ll be able to identify potential hazards while carrying out my video with other people, as well as good spots within that area to physically shoot, in order to get the best shot in as few takes as possible.

What is intertextuality? Intertextuality- A  literary device that creates an 'interrelationship between texts' and generates related understanding in separate works.  These references are made to influence the reader and add layers of depth to a text, based on the readers' prior knowledge and understanding. In this Intertextuality research task, I will be exploring how a wide range of media products in the category of 'Music video' use intertextuality in order to appeal content to a wider range of audiences, as oppose to just one. In addition to this, I will also be highlighting what makes these references to other media texts effective. 6-Producers/Directors research

In this post I will be researching a range of media practitioners linked to my chosen brief, paying particular attention to the style and use of conventions in the type of media products they produce. I will also be making reference to some of their existing products, this will give me a ideas on how I can gain inspiration from their techniques and for my own productions of both the main task and the website. I believe that by being able to gain a sufficient comprehension and understanding of methods used by practitioners linked to my chosen brief, I will be enabled to produce a media text that follows and reflects their style more effectively.
